Celebrating Volunteers – FREE Community Dinner – April 28, 2017

In recognition of Volunteer Week in Canada, Canada’s 150th anniversary of confederation, and the power of volunteerism in Salmon Arm and the Shuswap, the Plan B:E Society welcomes all members of the community to gather at the Salmon Arm Recreation Society for a free community meal.


The event will be held on Friday, April 28 at the SASCU Community Centre in Salmon Arm.

Monday, March 23 for Part Two of Respect Lives Here – Co-creating Community, a workshop hosted by Shuswap Settlement Services (with the assistance of Embrace BC and the Thompson Okanagan Respect Network), Community Futures Shuswap and the Plan B:E Society.

Workshop Facilitator Charles Holmes will be back as a follow up to last year’s Respect Lives Here workshop held in Salmon Arm. Holmes is an SFU Professor and skilled facilitator with a passion for creating meaningful dialogue among community members towards common goals.

Community Gathering
On Sunday, March 22 at 7 pm join us for an opening reception and informal community gathering at the DAC. Refreshments served.
